What are audits for?
An audit is an assessment by an independent organisation that checks whether, for example, a website or an IT system complies with standards such as WCAG. This allows all internet users to understand equally well what we intend to convey on our website. Audits make it possible to check compliance with patterns, legal regulations and the norms of various standards.
Audits we carry out
The audits we carry out are professional and check websites, mobile applications and IT systems for compliance with the WCAG standard, but we can also take into account ADA Title III, AODA, Section 508 and EAA/EN301549. After the audit, a report is prepared showing which elements of the website have been implemented correctly and which criteria are met, which are not, and what needs to be done to fix them.
Our reports
Most reports available on the market are difficult to understand because of their complexity or unclear layout, which can make it hard to find the information you need. That is why we have created our own WCAG 2.1 accessibility audit report template, which is easy to read, includes graphic elements and presents statistics in a way that appeals to project managers and senior management.
Automation
To create our audits, we use a program that automatically generates the report based on data provided by an accessibility expert. As a result, the amount of work needed to create a report is reduced to a minimum and the results are repeatable. In addition, using automation eliminates the possibility of making any errors while creating the report.
Sample elements of our report
- One of several charts used to improve the readability of the report:

- One of several tables improving the readability of the report:

- Description of one of the evaluation criteria:

- One of the errors identified during the audit:

- The key information about the audit, presented in an engaging table:

Evaluation results
All evaluation criteria are sorted and easy to find through the table of contents.
Whenever a criterion is not met, we always indicate exactly where the error occurs and how to fix it. Each error description includes: the error type, indicating how significant the error is, its location, how to fix it, a screenshot showing the error and the person responsible for fixing it.
Interesting solutions
Our audit reports contain several important elements. One of them is automated testing, which, in addition to the tests carried out by the auditor or team of auditors, is performed using external websites. One such tool is Lighthouse.
Our offer
We can adapt our template to suit the needs of your company, and together with the template we offer a program that automates the creation of the report.
