Accessibility audits Prabuty, Iława, Kwidzyn

Nautil’s Prabuty branch works with public offices, schools, hospitals and businesses in Kwidzyn, Iława and Sztum counties. We check websites, documents and buildings, prepare accessibility statements and train teams – on site, at your premises.

What we do

Nautil services in Prabuty and the surrounding area

We do the same work as across Poland, without the long journeys: building audits are carried out on site, while websites and documents are checked remotely and the results discussed wherever suits you.

  • Digital accessibility audit

We check websites, public information bulletins (BIP), apps and systems against WCAG 2.1 and 2.2. You receive a report with a list of issues, priorities and guidance for your web developer.

  • Architectural accessibility audit

Civil engineers measure entrances, ramps, lifts, toilets and escape routes. The report sets out the barriers, costs and order of works – also for funding applications.

  • Accessibility statements and reports

We prepare accessibility statements for websites and apps and help accessibility coordinators with the accessibility status report.

  • Accessible documents and easy-to-read text

We fix PDF and Word files so that screen readers can read them, and write the easy-to-read (ETR) texts required of public offices.

  • Training for teams

We teach officials, teachers and website editors how to create accessible content and serve people with special needs. On site at your institution or online.

  • Transcription and captions

We turn recordings – such as broadcasts of municipal or county council sessions – into the text and captions required by accessibility law.

Who we work with

We work with institutions and businesses in the region

Accessibility is an obligation for every public body and, since June 2025, for some businesses too. We help you meet it so that your building and website genuinely serve people – residents, patients, pupils and tourists.

  • Municipal, town and county offices

Websites, public information bulletins, accessibility statements, reports and office buildings – from Prabuty and Kwidzyn to Iława and Sztum.

  • Schools and nurseries

Building audits before renovation, accessible school websites and training for teachers.

  • Hospitals and clinics

Registration, signage, toilets and the website – where the largest number of people come up against barriers.

  • Culture and tourism

Libraries, cultural centres, museums and lakeside venues in the Iława Lake District that want to welcome every guest.

  • Businesses and workplaces

Online shops and services covered by the European Accessibility Act, and workplaces for people with disabilities.

Why us

Local, with experience from all over Poland

  • An office nearby

Kwidzyn, Iława and Sztum are well under an hour’s drive from Prabuty. That makes it easy to arrange a building audit, a meeting with your contractor or training at your institution.

  • Testers with disabilities

Our team includes people with visual, hearing and mobility impairments. They check whether a solution works in practice, not just on paper.

  • More than 500 projects

We have audited the websites of ministries, universities, museums and banks, and buildings across the country. We bring that experience to institutions near you.

Questions and answers

Do you travel to Iława, Kwidzyn or Sztum for a building audit?

Yes. We always carry out an architectural accessibility audit on site – it cannot be done from photos. From our Prabuty office we travel to Kwidzyn, Iława, Sztum, Susz and the rest of Kwidzyn, Iława and Sztum counties – a drive of under an hour rather than a trip from the Tricity.

Does a website or public information bulletin (BIP) audit require a meeting?

No. We carry out digital accessibility audits remotely and discuss the results in a video call. If you prefer to talk in person, you are welcome at our Prabuty office, or we will come to you.

Who is required to ensure accessibility?

Public bodies – municipal and county offices, schools, nurseries, hospitals, libraries and cultural centres – under the Polish acts on ensuring accessibility for persons with special needs and on digital accessibility. Since 28 June 2025 the requirements also cover some businesses: online shops, banks, transport operators and telecom providers (the European Accessibility Act).

Can you help prepare an accessibility statement and the accessibility status report?

Yes. We prepare accessibility statements for websites and apps, help accessibility coordinators gather the data for the accessibility status report and point out what to fix before the next one.

Do people with disabilities take part in your audits?

Yes. The Nautil team includes testers with visual, hearing and mobility impairments. They check whether a building, website or document works in practice, not just on paper.

How much does an audit cost?

It depends on the size of the building or website. You can estimate the cost of an architectural audit with the calculator on the architectural accessibility page; we will quote a website audit after a short conversation – you can book it in the calendar on the contact page.
